“A new stadium will not only allow us to continue to attract the top baseball talent from across the country, but will also put us on an even playing field with the elite of college baseball.”

“The stadium will also bring new hope and energy to our campus and help in the revitalization of downtown Johnson City . For many of us, we remember that time in our youth when we made our first visit to a baseball stadium with our fathers. The sights, sounds and smells of that ballpark are still very vivid in our minds. What a special memory that is and now we have the opportunity to create those same wonderful memories with our own children."

–Tony Skole Baseball Head Coach

Baseball Stadium

Projected for 2008-09

Baseball at ETSU has seen its share of success; however, like a lot of Buccaneer programs, it is still searching for that true home on campus. For years the Johnson City Cardnals and the Buccaneers have worked together sharing the same city-owned field.

The stadium architecture is designed to unite the architecture of the university and the urban connection to downtown Johnson City. Designed to maximize fan experience, the new stadium will include:

•  TV-quality lighting

•  Luxury boxes and seating for 3,000 with options to expand

•  State-of-the-art scoreboard

•  Dugouts attached to clubhouse with easy access to bullpens and hitting tunnels

•  Fan-mall, including team offices, team stores, Hall of Fame area, concessions, sports-theme restaurants and retail opportunities
