Softball Stadium

Construction Underway

Softball the newest addition to the ETSU athletics department, will have the opportunity to begin playing in our own stadium. Having played in a city-owned facility for the first six years of the program, our softball team needs the competitive advantages that come with having a playing field on campus.

As a result of a land swap arrangement, the softball stadium site was rough graded when the Kroger shopping center was build on the corner of State of Franklin adjacent to the university. Upon its completion the stadium will be one of the most attractive athletic facilities in the region, overlooking the ETSU campus with a mountain background.

Phase I

•  TV-quality lighting

•  500 seats, with 150 chair back seats

•  Press box amenities for media and game operations

•  Gated entry concourse, bathrooms, concessions

•  State-of-the-art scoreboard

•  Dugouts with attached storage and easy access to bullpens

Phase II

•  Team building with indoor hitting tunnels, locker rooms, equipment rooms, training room, team room and coaches offices
