"Reaching Higher is ultimately about giving talented and dedicated people opportunities to achieve their goals. The dream of having one of the finest collegiate golf practice facilities in the country was made a reality by a unique group of people who believed in the goals we were trying to achieve, and in our ability to reach them. We are truly grateful to these individuals who have given us that opportunity."

Warren-Greene Golf Center

Completed August 2004

The first facility to be completed was the Warren-Greene Golf Center supported through private contributions. The center provides a place on campus for the ETSU men's and women's golf teams to polish their skills. The exterior practice area was designed by world-renowned golf architect Tom Fazio. Estimated cost for the center is $2.4 million.

On a 14-acre site, the facility includes:

•  Six target greens, two bent-grass greens (one for putting and one for short-game work), two tee areas, and four bunkers

•  A 3000 square foot, two-story club house, designed by Ken Ross Architects of Johnson City, and contains coaches' offices, meeting rooms, the Hal Morrison Hall of Fame room, players' lounge, two indoor hitting bays with performance enhancement multi-media equipment, and an observation deck.
