The Roan Scholars Steering Committee was appointed by ETSU President, Dr. Paul E. Stanton, Jr. and provides oversight for the Roan Scholars Program. The committee includes nine community leaders and three university representatives.

The Steering Committee members are involved in all aspects of the Roan Scholars Program including final selection of new scholars. In addition to the oversight responsibilities, members regularly interact with the Scholars and may serve as mentors.
