- SPC names director of the QEP,
who in turn identifies leaders and teams (faculty, staff, and administration)
responsible for writing plans to improve success of three populations:
first-time freshmen, transfer students, and off-campus students.
- QEP director leads the campus
(students, faculty, staff, and administration) in identifying current
issues and information regarding success of each of the three student
populations.
Completed before October 15, 2001
- QEP freshman, transfer, and
off-campus teams write plans for improving student success; QEP director
collates these reports and other information to complete a draft of
ETSU's Quality Enhancement Plan.
Completed before November 15, 2001
- Director of the QEP posts the
QEP draft document (100 pages) on the Web and solicits feedback from
the campus.
Completed before December 1, 2001
- QEP leadership revises the plan
in light of campus feedback.
- President's Council considers
the QEP for approval.
Completed before December 10, 2001
- President submits the QEP to
the Commission on Colleges.
Completed before February 21, 2002
- SACS-appointed team visits the
campus (February 17-21, 2002) to consult with ETSU regarding the Quality
Enhancement Plan.

- ETSU implements and sustains
the QEP.
