  • Demonstrated desire and solid commitment for an in-depth summer studio art experience at Penland
  • GPA considered

Public Performance Scholarship :

  • Incoming 1st semester freshmen or 1st semester transfer
  • Full-time student (minimum of 15 credit hours)
  • Available only to students that have been accepted to ETSU
  • Out-of-state resident
  • Must take at least one Art Studio class every semester

Lynn Elizabeth Whitehead Ceramics Scholarship :

  • Rising junior or senior, including transfer students
  • BFA major
  • Requirements prior to application include:
    • Research visit to the B. Carroll Reece Museum website:  www.etsu.edu/reece/endowment-whitehead.asp
    • Submit  a review of Lynn Whitehead's artist statement & work with application.
    • One piece from the scholarship recipient’s submissions will be selected for the permanent collection of the museum
