emphasizes the areas of automation, integration, data acquisition, and process control. To
do this, we are constantly updating our infrastructure to include:
Computer Numerical
Control (CNC) machines
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)

Sensor Technology
Robotics
Microprocessor development tools
The goal is to provide our students with cross training in technical and business fields such as:
Data acquisition and
process control
Automation
System design and integration
Electronics
Materials
Mechanical systems
Total Quality Management
Concurrent engineering tools
These technologies greatly enhance the students education in
addition to providing resources for university and industry research.
