Transferring into Engineering Technology Programs

ETSU has established undergraduate transfer agreement programs with many colleges inside and outside Tennessee. Many community colleges in the TBR system have technical (A.A.S.) degree programs that articuate directly into one or more of the Engineering Technology concentrations, this is especially true for community colleges located in the eastern part of the state including Chattanooga State Technical Community College, Northeast State Technical Community College, Pellissippi State Community College, & Walters State Community College.

Transfer InIt is strongly recommended that all prospective transfer students
visit the departmental "Transferring into ETSU" web page
for detailed information regarding university and departmental
policies and requirements prior to transferring into the department's various programs.

Off-Campus Cohorts

In conjunction with these various "2+2' transfer articulation programs, the department often offers the opportunity for students throughout the the east Tennessee region to attend ETSU classes and and pursue their undergraduate (B.S.) degree without having to relocate or travel to the main campus in Johnson City. Administrated by the ETSU School of Continuing Studies' Division of Cross-Disciplinary Studies, the department offers an ongoing set of off-campus cohorts (primarily in the Electronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology and Product Development and concentration areas).

CohortsAdditional background information, the philosophy, and goals
of the ETSU Engineering Technology off-campus cohorts
can be found on the department's "Off-Campus Cohorts", the ETSU @ Pellissippi &/or ETSU @ Walters State cohort information web pages.
