The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies is an interdisciplinary graduate program that offers students the opportunity to design an individualized course of study in the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, and other fields.  

The graduate curriculum in Appalachian Studies within  ETSU’s Master of Arts in Liberal Studies offers students the opportunity to explore the history and heritage, problems and potentials of the Appalachian region.
