MALS 5000: Foundations in Liberal Studies(1 hour)

MALS 5100: Introduction to Interdisciplinary Study (3 hours)

In lieu of MALS 5200 students will take either MEDA 5800, Information Networks-Resource Sharing or MEDA 5850: Managing Content on the Internet

Either of the following two courses:
MEDA 5800: Information Networks-Resource Sharing 
MEDA 5850: Managing Content on the Internet (3 hours)

MALS 5400*: Seminar in Interdisciplinary Research(3 hours)

MALS 5850: Project Research or
MALS 5860: Thesis Research (3 hours)

* May substitute a research methods course approved by the MALS director.
