Master of Arts in Liberal Studies
      Graduate Curriculum in Religion and Spirituality in Human Thought and Culture

The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies curriculum in religion and spirituality offers students the opportunity to study and reflect upon the influence of spirituality and religion on humanity.  Because of its interdisciplinary nature, MALS extends to students the freedom to pursue a program of study grounded in specific themes or scholarship.

Admissions Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution

  • GPA of at least 2.5

  • Admissions interview

Summary of MALS degree requirements
A minimum total of either 31 (thesis) or 34 (special project) hours is required.
