ETSU offers
two scholarship programs for the spouses and dependent children
of ETSU employees. The ETSU Family Scholarship was established
by the Staff Senate and Faculty Senate. The Scotty L. Snyder
Scholarship was established in memory of Mr. Snyder who was a
graduate and career employee of ETSU.
Qualifications for both scholarships include the following:
·
Applicants must be
full-time, undergraduate students.
·
Applicants must be the
spouse or dependent child of a full-time, permanent employee or
a retired full-time, permanent employee. This also includes the
spouse and dependent children of deceased employees, providing
that the employee was a full-time, permanent employee at the
time of death.
·
Documented financial
need is a consideration.
The amount of
the scholarship depends on funding in the endowment.
Scholarships are awarded for one year only. Students must reapply for the
scholarship each year. The application deadline is March 1.

located in the ARC on the second level of the DP Culp Center and
