Dual enrollment classes are available to high
school juniors and seniors with an un-weighted high school grade
point average of 3.2 or above on 4.0 scale and have ACT composite
score and sub scores of 19 or higher or comparable SAT scores. If
ACT or SAT scores are not available, comparable PLAN scores are
required.
- Students must complete an application for admission to ETSU
(Classification: Special Student – Dual Enrollment)
- Students must request that an official grade transcript be
sent to ETSU
- Letter of recommendation from guidance counselor or
principal
- Students must submit their ACT/SAT/PLAN scores ETSU
Students may take
up to seven credit hours per semester (two classes)

Dual Enrollment Scholarship for Academically Talented Students

Students must have a 3.4 or above GPA to receive the scholarship

Available for one class per semester

Students must maintain a “B” or higher average in their college
classes

Eligibility requirements are reviewed at
the end of each semester to verify that students have maintained
the minimum GPA in order to continue to receive the
scholarship

Students may receive both the Tennessee (Lottery) Dual
Enrollment Grant and the ETSU Dual Enrollment Scholarship for
Academically Talented Students

No additional application is necessary to be considered for the
scholarship
