University Tutoring Service’s online tutoring takes place within the framework of ETSU’s D2L (Desire 2 Learn) system. D2L is the software that ETSU uses for online classes and it is what we use for our tutoring sites. While not all courses we tutor have a group tutoring session, all courses that we tutor have a D2L site. Our tutoring site is different and separate from the D2L site that your professor may use for the course. The D2L tutoring site that students enroll in is supported by UTS and maintained by a UTS staff tutor. Once you enroll and access the tutoring site you will be able to browse related material and resources; take practice quizzes; and post questions related to course material. A staff tutor will respond to questions in a timely manner.
