
Nominations shall be made in writing to the President of the Faculty Senate by April 1 of the year in which the term of the current representative ends. The election will take place during the regular election meeting of the Senate during spring semester.
The elected representative shall serve a three-year, non-renewable term that shall begin on August 1 of the year of election. An individual may serve more than one term, but not consectutive terms. If the elected representative is not a member of the Faculty Senate or the Faculty Senate Executive Committee, he/she shall be a non-voting, ex-officio member of both groups.
1.5.5.3. Webmaster
1.5.5.3.1 At the beginning of each term, the Faculty Senate President shall appoint a webmaster to develop &/or maintain the official Faculty Senate web site. Any full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty member can be appointed to the position.
The webmaster shall serve a one-year, renewable term that shall begin on August 1. An individual may serve consectutive terms but more than three consecutative terms. If the Webmaster is not an elected member of the Faculty Senate and/or the Faculty Senate Executive Committee, he/she shall be a non-voting, ex-officio member of that group.
1.5.5.3.2 The web site should contain information of interest to senators and the faculty including a schedule of meetings; an archive of aganda, minutes, and supporting documentations; and other faculty-related links.
1.5.5.4. Past President
1.5.5.4.1 The immediate past president of the Faculty Senate serves as a member of the Faculty Senate Executive Committee for the year after completing his/her term as president, irrespective of whether he/she is a continuing member of the Faculty Senate.
