The MSW Stipend program consists of one child welfare elective and field placement in a clinical child welfare internship in addition to traditional degree requirements.


Full-time employees of the Department of Children's Services who are accepted into the MSW program complete an internal application process. Eligibility criteria are established by DCS. Selected students will receive tuition and reimbursed funds each semester to cover the costs of books and some additional expenses incurred while enrolled. The student is then obligated to work for DCS for a two-year commitment.
