Carolyn Bond graduated from University High School in 1972. She secured active employment with ETSU in April 1976 accepting a position in the Sherrod Library. Carolyn has been a member of the ETSU family for a total of 34 years, all of which have been enjoyed in the Sherrod Library. She is currently working as a Library Assistant and is also serving as building coordinator for the library.
Carolyn is certified in both CPR and First Aid. Service on university committees includes acting as the staff representative on the Safety Committee and the Employee & Retiree Benefits Standing Committee. She has been actively involved in the Tennessee State Employees Association (TSEA) for many years and currently serves as President of the ETSU Chapter. She has officiated in this position for the past 15 years.
Carolyn enjoys reading and takes great pleasure in books pertaining to the Amish Community. She also enjoys listening to Contemporary Christian music.
