Kathy Carder is a 1972 graduate of David Crockett High School. She was notably a graduate of the first graduating class. She began her tenure with ETSU in 1986 – accepting a position in the Foundation Accounting office and has worked in that office since her first day of employment. Kathy received her Certified Professional Secretary certification in 1998.
Kathy is serving her second term as a Staff Senator. She is an active member of the Staff Development and Evaluation Committee, the Picnic Committee, and most recently served on the Holiday Committee.
From being a breast cancer survivor, I have participated in the ETSU Relay for Life. I have also been honored during the Women’s Basketball game in 2008 and 2009 during their Pink Zone games. I have also participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure since it started in the Tri-Cities in 2006.
My personal interests are: reading and traveling.
