Biography
Sue Russell is currently working as the Office Manager for Student Affairs, College of Medicine. Sue is a Washington County native, and a graduate from David Crocket High School who has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from ETSU. Prior to her service in Student Affairs, Sue served in other capacities for the College of Medicine. Sue’s university tenure spans more than 16 years.
Sue is now serving her second term as a Staff Senator and notes that she thoroughly enjoys representing the staff members of the university. Currently, she is serving on the Staff Awards and Staff Picnic Committees. During her previous term in office, she served on the Executive Committee and officiated as Senate Secretary, and Chair of the Staff Picnic Committee. In 2010, as Chairperson of the ETSU Employee Giving Campaign, Sue led the University to a successful finale.
Sue is an active member of Jonesborough United Methodist Church and the United Emmaus Community. She loves working with the youth group and thoroughly enjoys singing in the Chancel Choir. When not at work, Sue enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
