Dramatization—Group Performance: The Old Testament, 3 hours,
T-R 9:45-11:05am
Description: In this 3-hour
storytelling course we will explore the folkloric, literary, and cultural
backgrounds of Old Testament narratives, the enduring set of oral and literary
traditions that have given the world
such unforgettable characters as Adam and Eve, Noah and his sons, Abraham and
Isaac, Samson and Delilah, Lot and his wife and daughters, David and Goliath,
and so many more.
Though rich in
cultural background, this class will be mainly focused on performance. We will
explore the techniques of
Theater, Music, Dance, Graphic Animation, Storytelling, and other
interested grad students are welcome! Interested undergrads may register for
