Instructions for Oral Presenters

  1. The deadline for submitting an abstract for oral presentations is February 16, 2011.  (Note:  see the Abstract Preparation page for guidelines in creating your abstract.)

Please be aware:  Only a limited number of oral presenters will be selected, based on the merit of the abstracts.  In the event that you apply for an Oral Session and are not chosen, you have the option of presenting a poster instead.

  2. Oral presentations should be limited to ten (10) minutes in length, followed by five minutes for judges' questions.

  3. Important:  Speakers must e-mail an electronic copy of their PowerPoint presentation to no later than noon Tuesday, March 22, 2011, so that all presentations are uploaded at the facility and ready to project on time.  Please ensure that your PowerPoint file is complete, accurate, and error-free, as no changes will be allowed after submission.

  4. Please note the time changes below.  On the day of the Forum, all speakers should pick up their name badge and packet at the Forum Registration Desk at 8:30 am, and plan to be at their scheduled location/room before 9:00 am.  When you arrive in the room, identify yourself to the session chair.

You should regularly check the Oral Presentation Schedule for your scheduled time slot and location and for any updates to the schedule.

  5. Speakers should plan to attend the keynote address and awards ceremony that follow the oral sessions on Thursday, March 24

  6. Photos (individual and group) of all award winners will be taken after the awards ceremony. Therefore, all award winners should stay until the ceremony is finished.
