Instructions for Oral Presenters

1. The deadline for submitting an abstract for oral presentations was February 28, 2008.  (Note:  see the Abstract Preparation page for guidelines in creating your abstract.) 
   
   Only a limited number of oral presenters will be selected, based on the merit of the abstracts.  In the event that you apply for an Oral Session and are not chosen, you have the option of presenting a poster instead.

2. Oral presentations should be limited to ten (10) minutes in length, followed by five minutes for judges' questions.

3. Important:  Speakers must e-mail an electronic copy of their PowerPoint presentation to research@etsu.edu no later than noon,  Tuesday, April 1, 2008, so that all presentations are loaded and ready to project on time.

4. On the day of the Forum, all speakers should first pick up their name badge and packet at the Registration Desk, and plan to be at their scheduled location at least 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled time for their oral presentation, and identify themselves to the session chair.  Regularly check the Oral Presentation Schedule for your scheduled time slot and location and for any updates to the schedule.

5. Speakers should plan to attend the luncheon, keynote address and awards ceremony on Thursday, April 3 at 2:00 pm in the Centre at Millennium Park. 

6. Photos of all award winners will be taken after the awards ceremony. Therefore, all award winners should stay until the ceremony is finished.
