Instructions for Poster Presenters

1. The deadline for submitting an abstract for poster presentations was March 14, 2008.  (See the Abstract Preparation page for rules and guidelines.)

2. When developing your poster, follow the guidelines as outlined on the Poster Preparation page of this website.

3. Posters must be set up in the Centre at Millennium Park Ballroom on Wednesday, April 2 between 11:00 am and 2:30 pm

4. All presenters should first pick up their name badge and packet at the Registration Desk.

5. When you arrive at the Ballroom to set up your poster, look for the poster board with your name/number.  

6. Push-pins for attaching your poster to the poster-display stands will be available for your use.  

7. Poster judging will take place beginning at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2. There will be just one poster session. 
   
   Please be at your poster at 3:00 p.m.  Each presenter/main author should plan to explain his/her research to a panel of judges.  We ask that you limit your presentation to seven minutes.  Judges may also interact with the presenters by asking questions about your research.

8. Presenters should plan to attend at the luncheon, keynote address and awards ceremony on Thursday, April 3 in the Centre at Millennium Park. 

9. Photos of all award winners will be taken after the awards ceremony. Therefore, all award winners should stay until the ceremony is finished.

10. Posters must be taken down on Thursday, April 3 by 4:30 pm.
