The Appalachian Student Research Forum is a regional competition in which participants present their research in a formal setting.  The Forum is open to undergraduate, graduate, and medical students, as well as post-docs, residents and fellows from universities and colleges across the Appalachian region. Competitive divisions and categories include:


POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Division I:
      Undergraduates * 
Division II:
      Graduate Students 1-2 years*
Division III:
      Graduate Students more than 2 years*
Division IV:
      Medical Students
Division V:
      Residents/Post-doctoral Fellows
Division VI:

 *Participants in poster Divisions I-III will also be allowed to choose one of the following categories that best represents their research:

 

• Arts & Humanities
Biomedical Sciences
Natural Sciences & Mathematics

(The two oral presentation sessions are limited to eight presenters per session. Presenters will be selected based on the merit of their abstracts prior to the Forum.)
