The deadline for submitting your registration and abstract for poster presentations is Wednesday, March 6, 2014 . (See the Abstract Guidelines page for abstract composition rules.)
When developing your poster, follow the guidelines as outlined on the Poster Preparation page of this website.
ETSU-Student Posters must be set up in the Centre at Millennium Park Ballroom on Wednesday, April 3 between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. (No entry into the building after 5 pm.) Posters from non-ETSU students may be set up between 7 and 8 AM on Thursday, April 4. In order to be judged, you must have your poster set up no later than 8 AM on Thursday, April 4.
Please be aware that it is each student's responsibility to notify his/her instructor(s) in advance of the impending absence from class on April 4th. A letter serving as the "Class Absence Authorization Form" will be provided in the student packets (see Step 4 below)..
When you first arrive at the Centre, go directly to the Forum Registration Desk at the top of the stairs to receive your student packet. then proceed to the Ballroom and look for the poster display board with your assigned number.
Push-pins for attaching your poster to the poster-display stands will be available for your use.
All poster presenters are required to be present and ready at their poster beginning at 8:00 am on Thursday, April 4.
Poster judging will begin promptly at 8:00 am on Thursday, April 4. There will be only one poster judging session. If you are not present at your poster when the judges arrive to judge it, your poster will be considered non-competitive.

Please remember to bring your student packet with you on Thursday, and to wear the nametag supplied to you in the packet.
Each presenter/main author should plan to explain his/her research to a panel of judges. Limit your explanation to
seven (7) minutes
. Judges may also interact with the presenters by asking questions about your research.
Presenters should plan to attend the keynote address and awards ceremony which follow the poster judging session and lunch.
Photos of award winners will be taken after the awards ceremony. Therefore, all award winners should stay until the ceremony is finished.
You should remove your poster no later than 4:30 pm on Thursday, April 4.
Remember to copy and distribute the Class Absence Authorization Letter to your instructors.
