The NET (Non-Traditional Student Network)
The NET (Non-Traditional Student Network) is an online-based Student organization which uses the University network Desire to Learn (D2L) to facilitate contact and community with the Adult population of Students at ETSU. Through The NET D2L site, Adult Students are able to access discussion forums, resource materials and information downloads. You and your fellow Adult Students are open to share tips, information, frustrations, discussions, experiences, etc.
The Mission of The NET is to improve the ETSU experience of Adult Students by unifying them in an organization that provides a strong voice of support and advocacy for their needs and inspires them to achieve their goals.
The NET is the place for Non-Traditional Students to acquire the support, resources and information they need ~ any time, any place ~ as a predominantly internet-based organization that provides an information clearinghouse and communication network for Adult Students juggling life obligations with the demands of higher education.
The NET is not an exclusively on-line experience. Regular group meetings, social events and leadership opportunities are all a vital part of this organization as well!

• Obtain information on scholarships geared towards adult students
