Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any of your questions or refer you to someone who can better assist you as needed.  The A.C.T.S. Office offers a wide variety of programs to help Adult, Commuter, and Transfer Students.  Whether you are transferring from another college or university, a returning Student, or brand new to ETSU, we can help you navigate through your college experience.

Campus Life Resources & Activities

There are options for Students who have a family made up of small children.  ETSU has Child Care Services that accommodate those mothers or fathers with daycare issues at a reasonable price.  The locations for day care (including evenings in some cases) on campus and close to main campus provide highly qualified Staff.  Visit the Child Care Services page for details.

If you are looking for physical activity or a wide variety of activities, seek out connections with the opportunities on campus!  ETSU has places especially designed to point you in the right direction.  Whether in the form of aerobic exercise or sport activities (i.e., softball, volleyball),  ETSU's newly built Basler Center for Physical Activity will offer you everything from free weights to instructed courses in aqua-aerobics.  We have the SORC (pronouced "source") providing support and advocacy for Student organizations and Volunteer ETSU offering leadership opportunities.  These are just a sampling of ways Students can get "plugged in" and acquainted with fellow Students and potential friends.

No matter where you are in life, sickness is a potential threat.  Thankfully, ETSU has  Student Health Services specifically designed for those Students attending here.  Even if you are not sick, they offer immunizations against potential diseases, opportunities to learn about health-related issues and Student Health Insurance coverage

Multi-Cultural Affairs offers Students the opportunity to interact on campus and in the community with others from all walks of life, providing exposure to diverse cultures and different backgrounds.  Whether you are a "local" or from another nationality, the Office of Multi-Cultural Affairs strives to enhance Student experiences by assisting those seeking a helping hand and a means to thrive.  Disability Services is a department full of kind, generous people waiting to help Students adjust and transition to the ETSU campus, accommodating unique needs for each Student.

Finally, we have the Advisement Resource Center (ARC) full of different offices with a wealth of knowledge.  The variety of people located here can help you get on the path to a career through different Personality Tests or they can help you find an Internship in your field of study.  There are those who can lead you from a confused Undeclared Student to a determined Student focused on a major and program of study.  We (A.C.T.S.) are found in the company of these wonderful people and are always ready to help you get on track.
