The Student Affairs Division, as one of the major divisions of East Tennessee State University, is committed to an ongoing process of research, continuous improvement, and assessment.

One of the key elements in improvement is the process of clearly defining our purposes, setting measurable objectives, working towards their achievement, and assessing the movement toward each objective and goal. Throughout the year assessment efforts are underway to measure our movement toward the established goals.
