* 1.1 - Unit directors and their staffs are provided direction in formulating, reaching consensus, and carrying out annual objectives that are consistent with division and university goals and major initiatives.

* 1.3 - Unit directors have access to personnel and financial resources which are adequate to carry out their unit's objectives.
* 1.4 - Unit directors are held accountable for the provision of quality services and programs assigned to their units.
* 1.5 - Administrative functions which are the responsibility of the Office of Student Affairs are carried out in an efficient and expeditious manner.

* 2.1 - Student needs and concerns are regularly communicated to the university's administration and considered in the university's governance process.

* 3.1 - Students and their families are knowledgeable about university services and programs, as well as opportunities for involvement.
* 3.2 - Students receive high quality academic advisement and register for courses appropriate to their academic majors.

The Office of Student Affairs seeks to inform the university decision-making process by providing administrators and faculty with current demographic data about students including their perceptions and needs.

* 4.1 - The university's administration and faculty are provided information about student needs and perceptions as a factor when making decisions that affect student well-being.

* 5.1 - University policies are clearly communicated and enforced in an equitable manner.  
* 5.2 - Students involved in the judicial process are given the opportunity to examine their behavior and analyze its effect on the community
The Office of Student Affairs seeks to ensure that student activities money is allocated and expended in a responsible manner.

* 6.1 - The annual allocation of student activities money is conducted in a transparent and equitable manner consistent with written policies and procedures.  
* 6.2 - The Student Government Association's allocation of student activities funds that it controls is conducted consistent with its written by-laws.
* 6.3 - Persons in charge of student activities budgets are held accountable for the appropriate expenditure of student activities monies consistent with university financial policies and procedures.  
The Office of Student Affairs seeks to ensure that students have a voice in the university's governance system.
