Spring Community Service Project

The Committee is once again sponsoring an annual Community Service Project.  Three (3) local organizations were selected to be beneficiaries of the project; Second Harvest Food Bank, Science Hill High School Alternative School, and the Sexual Assault Crisis Center.  The current project began on March 9, 2006 and will continue through May 8, 2006. 

Below is a listing of items Committee members are collecting for each of the charities listed above. 

Second Harvest Food Bank

• Canned Meats
• Canned Vegetables
• Pasta
• Canned fruit
• Dried Beans
• Cereals
• Peanut Butter
• Macaroni
• Other non-perishable food items

Science Hill High School Alternative School

• School Supplies (pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, etc.)
• Clothes
• Underwear
• Socks
• Shoes (size 7 to 11.5)

Sexual Assault Crisis Center

• Sweatpants
• T-Shirts
• Flip-flops
• Slip-on Shoes
• Underwear
• Socks

Monetary donations in the form of a check made payable to the individual organization are also welcome.
