APRIL 7, 2006 The
Student Affairs Staff Development Committee is sponsoring the Staff
Recognition Awards for all Full-time staff, Graduate Assistants, and
Full-Time Temporary staff again this year.
Please find attached two separate nomination forms, one for Full-Time
Staff and the second for Graduate Assistants and Full-Time Temporary
Employees. There are five award categories for each
form. An individual may
be nominated for more than one category.
A separate form must be submitted for each individual nomination
in each award category. For

or to Campus Box 70692. Selections
will be made by the Staff Development Committee. It is the goal of the Staff Development
Committee to honor at least one individual in each category; however,
we reserve the right not to present an award for a category in the absence
of a viable nomination. Individuals
selected in each award category will be recognized at the Division Spring
Luncheon on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 11:30 a.m. until Please

Full-Time Temporary employees so they may participate as well. If

given to individuals who display a unique commitment to the promotion
of social justice and celebration of cultural diversity (gender, ethnicity,
sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, age, etc.) within
the ETSU community.

Innovation: award given to individuals
who have contributed to the efficiency and/or effectiveness of our division/university
through their new initiatives or ideas.
5)
Dedication to the University/Department/Division: award
given to individuals who display commitment, dedication, hard work,
