Saturday Weekend Manager

·     On-site supervision of the facility during all operating hours.

·     Act as the University representative to the weekend users of the facility.

·     Supervision and training of the student worker staff.

·     Maintenance of building security, especially in relation to the potential theft and vandalism.

·     Oversee and support the many events and activities in the building by insuring that the proper rooms and facilities are set-up and open as scheduled.

·     Prepare the necessary reports and administrative functions necessary to assist in the ongoing operation of the facility.

·     Emergency response to any health, fire, or other type of emergency.

·     Regularly assigned projects related to the operation of the University Center.

·     Assists in the advisement of Volunteer ETSU.

·     Provides support to campus-wide service projects.

·     Serves as a resource for community service opportunities on campus and in the community.

·     Reports to the Coordinator for Greek Life and Community Service Programs.

 

 

Open to all majors.

 

 

Qualified applicants should be proficient in pc computing and skilled in oral and written communication.  Experience with student activities and a campus involvement opportunity is preferred.  Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment are a must.  Evening and weekend work is required.  Energy and enthusiasm always welcome.

 

Greek Life Assistant

9 months

 

·       Advise and support programs sponsored by Greek Life Office, the Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Panhellenic Council

·       Serve as advisor to select officers of the fraternity/sorority governing councils

·       Serve as primary contact for planning and execution of risk management education and monitor organization compliance

·       Asssist in support, advising and development of fifteen(15) (inter)national fraternities and sororities on campus, their officers and their members

·       Assist in support and advising of membership recruitment processes for fraternities and sororities

·       Participate as an active member of the Student Organization Resource Center staff

·       All other duties as assigned by the Coordinator for Greek Life and Community Service Programs that further fraternity, sorority, and student engagement initiatives within the campus community
