Disability Services is responsible for the coordination of programs and services for qualified applicants for admission and enrolled students with disabilities. Such coordination relates solely to the student's disability.

Disability Services coordinates access to reasonable and appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities when the student has a documented disability. The student must have sufficient current documentation of the disability from a qualified professional. Individualized services are available to the student as determined by Disability Services staff based on the specific disability and academic activities the student pursues while enrolled.

  • Offers selective student services which are not provided by other university offices
  • Assists students in negotiating disability-related barriers to their pursuit of education
  • Strives to improve access to university programs, activities, and facilities for students with disabilities
  • Promotes increased awareness of disability related issues on campus
