Mission 
 
The Office of Multicultural Affairs provides opportunities for the development of educational, cultural, and social programs that enhance intercultural understanding while assisting the university community to help underrepresented students acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary to live and work in a changing, diverse, and global community.
 
 
Vision
 
The vision of the Office of Multicultural Affairs is to foster a climate within the university-wide community to affirm, appreciate, and celebrate the values of the cultural diversity.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs pursues its mission through a studnet-centered, educationally purposeful co-curricular programming, and activities reflecting excellence, and promoting continuous impovement based on core values where:
 
           People come first, are treated with dignity and respect, and are encouraged to achieve their full potential;
 
           Diversity of people, culture, and thought are affirmed, celebrated, and respected; and
 
           Commitment to engage and develop community leaders is embraced.
