Family Weekend Schedule of Events

Join us September 30th – October 2nd for a wonderful, fun-filled weekend on campus during one of East Tennessee’s most beautiful seasons. We have a variety of campus and community events available for you and your student to choose from. Join us for a welcome reception Friday evening, a tailgate on Saturday, and finally a brunch on Sunday. 

Family Weekend allows you to visit your student, stay connected to ETSU, and explore all that Johnson City has to offer. If you are a member of the Buccaneer Family Association, don’t forget to use your BFA Card for great discounts on food, hotels, and your Family Weekend registration!



Friday, September 30th

Enjoy a tailgate lunch at Shelbridge, the residence of President Noland. Come hang out with the students, faculty, staff and alumni as we prepare to cheer on the Buccaneers.

**ETSU Football vs. Chattanooga

Tickets are now available and can be purchased by clicking HERE. All tickets for the Chattanooga game are $25.00.

Your student is able to get a student ticket for free. Student tickets will be available online the Monday two weeks before the game, September 19th for the Family Weekend game. Student seating is in a different section than family tickets for this game. If you would like to sit with your student during the game, you must purchase them a ticket when you purchase your tickets.
