National Pan-Hellenic Council

National Pan-Hellenic Council at East Tennessee State University is the governing body of the historically African American social fraternities and sororities on campus. The Council is composed nationally of the "Divine Nine" and locally includes the fraternities Alpha Phi Alpha and Phi Beta Sigma and the sororities Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, and Zeta Phi Beta. This council works to promote community service, academic success, and strong brotherhood and sisterhood among and within each organization. Recruitment/intake, unlike NPC and IFC, occurs traditionally in either the fall or spring and is determined through attendance at interest meetings hosted by the individual organizations. Contact us anytime to find out more news, events and programs involving the National Pan-Hellenic Council.
