While academics will, of course, be the major focus of your
undergraduate years, participation in campus activities, including
Fraternity & Sorority life, will complete your educational
experience. Your involvement as a fraternity or sorority
member will provide a foundation for academic achievement and help
to prepare you for a productive personal, social and professional
life.
Your choice to consider Fraternity & Sorority life at ETSU is
commendable. Members of the Greek community life the espoused
values of their organizations while supporting and advancing the
mission and objectives of the university. Community service,
academic support, campus involvement, multicultural activities and
leadership development are just a few of the opportunities provided
by fraternities and sororities at ETSU.
Formal recruitment is an ideal opportunity to meet and become
acquainted with sorority women and fraternity men and to get an
overview of what Greek life is all about. It is important to
keep an open mind during recruitment and learn everything you can
about each chapter as they learn about you. It is this mutual
selection process that will allow you to make lasting friendships
with individuals with similar ideals and common purposes.
Best of luck! Our goal is to ensure that the Greek experience
at ETSU provides a safe and enjoyable avenue for students to grow
and develop during their college years. If you have any
