Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week

Every year a National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is held before Thanksgiving. It is the perfect time of year to come together and think about what we appreciate, are thankful for, and show compassion for those struggling with homelessness and hunger in our community. This week is a national venture to end hunger in our community and world. Addressing these struggles may help students grasp a greater solidarity and understanding as well as increase involvement.

Throughout the month of November Volunteer ETSU and the Office of Community Service Programs will sponsor several events to bring awareness to this topic and how it affects the local community.
