D.P.Culp University Center Offices

The main office for the University Center is located on the middle level of the D.P Culp Center. The main areas of the University Center Office Suite include the ID System Office, Facility Reservations, Camps and Conferences, and the Campus Lost and Found. Offices are closed on weekends during the summer. However, special evening and weekend hours are scheduled as needed to accommodate events. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us!


Meeting Rooms

The University Center has a number of meeting rooms with various capacities and setups available for student, campus, and community groups. The rooms are available for meetings, workshops, receptions, small banquets, etc. A full range of audio/visual support services, including satellite teleconferencing, is available upon request. To see the photo's and details of each of the rooms, review the floor plans of the facility and click on the area of interest.

Ballroom, Auditorium, and Amphitheater


A large ballroom seating over 1,000 theater style or over 650 banquet style is available along with an auditorium with thrust stage and seating 850. A full range of audio/visual support services, including satellite teleconferencing, is available upon request. The Amphitheater is a wonderful, outdoor facility for speeches, performances, and other events.

Conference Services



The University Center serves as the campus contact and coordination point for non-university groups wishing to use any campus facility during the summer. This involves the coordination of housing, food service, meeting rooms, athletic facilities, and other campus services.

University Food Services




The food service is managed by ARAMARK Campus Dining Services. On the third level of the Culp Center is the Market Place, an all-you-can-eat buffet style restaurant. The "Atrium Food Court" on the second floor offers a options like Chick-fil-A, Zoca: Fresh Mex to the Max, Grille Works, and Quiznos. The "Buc Mart" is a convenience store for all our student's needs. On the lower level is the Cave, a place to enjoy a great cup of coffee from Java City or some traditional food Asian Express. Several meal plan options are available for all students; they each help you save money while eating on campus! ARAMARK Campus Dining is also responsible for all catering occurring on campus.

University Bookstore



The University Bookstore is located on the middle level and is open Monday - Friday from 7:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The Bookstore carries a supply of new and used textbooks, paperbacks, school and office supplies, computer supplies, art supplies, stationery and greeting cards, tee shirts, sweatshirts, caps, and lots of other clothing. Check cashing service is offered to students, faculty, and staff.

Post Office

The campus post office is located on the lower level. Window service is offered as well as individual boxes. Student post office boxes are assigned during registration.

Tennessee Credit Union

The Credit Union is located inside the University Bookstore on the middle level.

Lounges

Lounges are provided on each level of the building with comfortable, soft seating furniture, a relaxing atmosphere, and televisions in some of the areas.


Computer Lab

The Computer Lab is located on the lower level. The lab is available for walk-in use by any registered student.

Lactation Suite

East Tennessee State University provides a lactation room on campus for faculty, staff, students and visitors. The lactation room provides equipment and space to new mothers who are breast feeding their babies and need a quiet space to pump their milk. The room is located on the 2nd floor of the D.P. Culp University Center beside the ARC.  This secure, clean, lockable, private room contains a rocker, clock, ice maker, hand sanitizer, paper towels, Clorox wipes, a trash can, coat rack, mirror, informational board, occupied sign, and flat screen TV.

How to get started?

Please review Lactation Suite Policy.

Please submit a Lactation Room Access Form or fill one out at the University Center Office on the second floor of the D.P. Culp Center next to ID Services.

After room access has been approved, your ETSU ID Card will be activated for access to the room.

Room access will expire after end date.

Access Hours: The Lactation Suite is available during the normal operating house of the The D.P. Culp Center.
