Technology Access Fee (TAF)
|

The Technology Access Fee (TAF) that students pay
each semester is money that is allocated specifically to make
technology accessible to all students.
Examples of TAF funded projects are the computer lab in
D.P. Culp and the laptops that are available for checkout in the
Sherrod Library.
Since 1997, the Technology Access Fee has provided
ETSU's students with significantly expanded technology opportunities.
It has provided funding for the completion of a campus-wide network
system, the open computer labs are on a three-year replacement cycle,
numerous college and departmental labs, and the Student Help Desk
have been created, and there are currently six multimedia classrooms.
