To broaden the dialog between scholars and teachers, the project hosts
“Mini-Institute” sessions during the Academic year. Teachers receive
in-service credit and where allowable, a small stipend for attendance at
these sessions. Mini-institutes take place after the school day whenever
possible and will be located throughout the 13 district TFFC region. Themes
will correspond to each of the Summer Institutes, allowing teachers to
further their knowledge and broaden the scope of their resources.
A graduate student dedicated to the TFFC project will be available to help
teachers locate primary source material and conduct research. |
