Mandelbrot set browser from Howard and William Smith College

Way cool MS browser, Java-based, excellent resolution, cool colors and animations! Unfortunately does not allow to save images. Does memorize examples, though. To save images, use Shift-PrintScreen and then paste into PowerPoint or whatever.  Mandelbrot Set browser by one Nick Lilavois
A little fewer beeps and whistles and lower resolution, but allows to change the rules, so it generates not only Mandelbrot, but also Dragon set and others. Again, to save the image use Shift-PrintScreen.

what is this sequence... 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13...? what comes next?

what is 1, 4, 24, 176, 1504...?

GO Database
The goal of the Gene OntologyTM Consortium is to produce a dynamic controlled vocabulary that can be applied to all organisms even as knowledge of gene and protein roles in cells is accumulating and changing.

ExPASy Molecular Biology Server
The ExPASy (Expert Protein Analysis System) proteomics server of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB) is dedicated to the analysis of protein sequences and structures as well as 2-D PAGE.
The Institute for Genomic Research
Founded in 1992, The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR) is a not-for-profit research institute whose primary research interests are in structural, functional and comparative analysis of genomes and gene products from a wide variety of organisms including viruses, eubacteria (both pathogens and non-pathogens, archaea (the so-called third domain of life), and eukaryotes (plants, animals, fungi and protists such as the malarial parasite).

Protein Information Resource
PIR produces the Protein Sequence Database (PSD) of functionally annotated protein sequences, which grew out of the Atlas of Protein Sequence and Structure (1965-1978) edited by Margaret Dayhoff and has been incorporated into an integrated knowledge base system of value-added databases and analytical tools.
