ETSU Division of Theatre and DanceETSU James Norwood Scholarship ETSU James Norwood Scholarships will be for one year. Scholarships will be paid in two equal installments, one at the beginning of fall semester and the other at the beginning of the spring semester. It is the intention of the intention of the Division of Theatre and Dance to increase the endowment principal as funds become available. The selection committee will decide the number of scholarships and the value of each scholarship to be awarded each year, depending on available funds.
1. Maintain a 3.0 average in Theatre and 2.5 overall average. 2. Perform in at least one role in an ETSU Theatre and Dance, faculty-directed production each semester and/or, work on a construction crew, running crew or in some other aspect of production, such as stage management. Involvement of ten hours per week is required. 3. Enroll in and complete a Theatre and/or Dance course each semester. Students who fail to comply with the criteria for scholarship maintenance will not be continued for additional semesters on the scholarship program. SelectionScholarship applications should be submitted to the Director of the Division of Theatre and Dance. The Director of Theatre shall appoint a special Theatre and Dance Scholarship Committee. The committee will select scholarship recipient's) based on the above listed criteria and on competitive auditions. The final date to turn in an application for the 2008-2009 school year is: March 28, 2008 A current resume that includes at least two references is required along with the application. The Scholarship Committee will notify students of the results of the competition. The Scholarship Committee will forward the names of the scholarship recipient's) along with the pertinent information to the Financial Aid Office. Mr.
