ONE DAY AT A TIME
Your goal is to get through today. Tomorrow, your goal will be to get through that day. Quitting can be challenging. Taking it a small step at a time may be helpful for managing triggers and cravings.
Try to remember the rewards you and your baby will receive from quitting. It might be helpful to review the TIPS website and manual for helpful suggestions during the quitting process. Most importantly, seek out friends, family, health care providers, community resources, and TIPS staff who will be there to provide support and help you through tough times.
