- Help us collect important pregnancy smoking-related health information. We are collecting anonymous data from patient medical records to look at smoking rates and factors that affect pregnancy smoking and cessation. We have ETSU IRB approval to collect this protected health information, and will share with you findings related to your patients. These findings may help to inform the way you practice.
- Receive training in counseling women about pregnancy smoking. TIPS staff will come to your office to provide a training session for physicians and/or nurses. Physicians can receive CME credit, and when counseling is provided to patients it can be reimbursed by TennCare and other insurers.
