First a Lady Bucs basketball stand-out at ETSU, Bass earned a master's degree at the University of Tennessee where she assisted marketing and promotions for the Lady Volunteers. In 1997, she became Executive Director of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association after she served in sports marketing management at Converse and NIKE.
