Dr. McRae Doran is among the only 2.3 percent of women board certified orthopedic surgeons in the United States. After nursing, she fell in love with orthopedics and eventually became a doctor. Years later, she returned to Johnson City to work at Watauga Orthopaedics as an orthopedic surgeon.
