The ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band, the premier group in the university's Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music Program, performs for the April 2004 Tennessee Board of Regents dinner in the Culp University Center. Led by the unique program's assistant director Raymond McLain of Kentucky, back row center, the band then included visiting Japanese scholar Takehar Kunimoto, shown on the left while playing the samisen Japanese banjo, and bandmates that hail from nearby Elizabethton and far away Ohio, Texas, New Jersey, and even Canada!
