Now: A walkway and parking lots pave the way in front of Gilbreath Hall

This tree-lined walkway leads from the current administration building to Gilbreath Hall, the original administration/classroom building on campus. Completed in 1910, it is named for the institution's first president, Sidney G. Gilbreath, a former state Superintendent of Public Schools and Superintendent of Schools in Chattanooga. He held the presidency from September 1910 to March 1925.
