Residents of Stone Hall relax by the elevated fireplace in the lobby. Built in 1953, the building is named for Ida Vance Stone (1883 - 1946), who served on the Bristol School Board for 20 years and was a long-time member and chair of the state Board of Education, ETSU's governing body at the time.
