For over 40 years, starting in 1915, Chef Hyder Bundy prepared and served "incredible" biscuits, apple pies, fried chicken and mashed potatoes that "were the best you'll ever eat here or in heaven" to East Tennessee State students, faculty and staff. The 1955 annual, dedicated to "Our relentless, loyal and faithful cafeteria chef," describes him as a "counselor and friend to every student." |
